Renzo was born in Switzerland in a three-generation family of chefs. He grew up in Molise and then moved to Rome where he started his career as a chef. His cooking is creativity, passion, emotion and satisfaction, but it is primarily an expression of love. His motto is “Always cook for someone; otherwise you’re just preparing a meal”.
He loves to take walks and travel with his family. He has been chef at Massimo D’Azeglio Restaurant for 28 years.
His masterpiece (and favorite dish) is Risotto with smoked provolone cheese and black truffle.
